About this course

Content calendars are an essential marketing tool for any business. They help you establish a plan for engaging your subscribers over time and identify any gaps along the way. Content calendars can come in many shapes and sizes — for this course, we’re going to focus on creating an email and SMS marketing content calendar. Content calendars are at the core of any organized email marketing strategy because they inform what emails you’re going to send, to whom, and when. It’s impossible to run a successful email marketing campaign without a clear vision of how and when you will communicate with your audience.

In this course, we’ll cover:

  • Planning tools
  • Content calendars (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and picking the right calendar for you
  • Types of content
  • Who to send to
  • How often to send content
  • Creating an integrated promotional calendar with other marketing channels

Take this course if:

  • You are responsible for building out a communication strategy
  • You are just getting started with email marketing or looking for a refresher on tips for efficient planning

Your instructor:

Julia LiMarzi is a content specialist at Klaviyo with a background in subscription ecommerce brands, owned marketing, and SEO. In her free time, she loves reading, learning new languages, and hiking. Connect with Julia on LinkedIn or the Klaviyo Community
