This work depicts Rotterdam's busy harbour, a view which Signac painted several times between 1906-7.
Zooming into the painting you can see one of Holland's most famous bridges, the Erasmus Bridge, which spans the River Nieuwe Maas.
Amongst the larger boats, Signac has also painted in some smaller rowing boats. Maybe they're out fishing?
