Spaces is an S3-compatible object storage service that lets you store and serve large amounts of data. Each Space is a bucket for you to store and serve files. The free, built-in Spaces CDN minimizes page load times, improves performance, and reduces bandwidth and infrastructure costs.
Starting on 1 March 2023, Spaces will automatically delete any incomplete Multipart Uploads older than 90 days, to prevent them from being billed and to free up storage.
All Spaces rate limits have increased to double their previous amount. For a list of the current rate limits, see our Limits page.
Spaces and the Spaces CDN now support HTTP/2 clients. HTTP/2-conformant clients now receive HTTP/2 responses, while others receive HTTP/1.1 responses. In certain cases, such as when an HTTP/2 request has a formatting error, it may downgrade to HTTP/1.1 for operational reasons, as permitted by the HTTP/2 specification.
